Our Mission: Network. Train. Give Back.

We are the premier, award winning organization for young professionals in Anchorage. We train and network young professionals ages 18-45 and while serving to strengthen our community. We provide a dynamic, multi-ethnic platform to coordinate resources and develop culturally competent leadership for a new generation. We are an inclusive organization and define professional as "good at what you do." We meet as a group every third Thursday of the month at 6 pm. See calendar for the latest location. It varies.

Our National Awards:
The Anchorage Urban League Young Professionals won three awards at the 2009 National Urban League Conference.

Our Network:
The Anchorage Urban League Young Professionals is one of 50 chapters of the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP), which serves as the umbrella organization under the National Urban League. NULYP support the League to serve local Urban League affiliates in their financial development efforts, attracting young professionals to the Urban League and developing these young professionals personally and professionally. As a member you can access a national membership database and network with community-minded young professionals across the nation. www

We are an auxiliary of the Anchorage Urban League, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide direct services to African Americans, other people of color and those in like circumstance to empower them to secure economic self-reliance and parity. www.nul-anchorage.org
